Manage Visibility of Salary Range or Pay Grades
According to new regulations, some institutions may need to make salary information available to applicants for all posted positions. Institutional Administrators can manage whether salary information is visible to applicants and whether the salary field is required when creating positions. If visibility is enabled, salary details become visible to all applicants across the entire institution; otherwise, only internal users can see them. This article describes how to manage the visibility/requirement of salary information.

By default, salary visibility is disabled, and the field is optional. When an Institutional Administrator enables salary visibility, that setting will be made across the institution.

Salary Range/Pay Grade Settings

  1. Navigate to the Administration page and select the Positions Settings tab on the left-hand side.

  2. Scroll down to the Salary Range or Pay Grade Settings section to select if salary information is visible to applicants and if the salary field is required.

If Salary Visibility is enabled, all applicants can view salary information. If disabled, only internal users can see it, regardless of whether the field is required or optional.

Check out the table below for information on applicant visibility during the Position Creation Process based on these settings.
