(Added) Set Faculty Start Date Before Hired

A user who is creating/editing a faculty appointment via API can now set the appointment start date before the Hire Date noted on the faculty profile. A user who is creating/editing a faculty appointment in bulk via the data loader, can also set the appointment start date before the Hire Date noted on the faculty profile. Previously in LM, the start date (which determines the faculty timeline) had to be after the date hired when adding a faculty appointment.

We now show helper text at the top of the Faculty List:

“The faculty list gives an overview of all staff members and their roles, ranks, and current event statuses within an institution. Users with appropriate permissions can sort and filter the list, with options to manage multiple items at once or individually. Learn more about managing the faculty list.
