Create and Manage Disposition Codes

Disposition codes are short descriptions for why applicants did not make it to the next step of the hiring process. These are only set at the institution level and there are no default disposition codes provided. Disposition codes are meant to work in conjunction with application statuses by documenting why an applicant did not progress further in the hiring process. This supports comprehensive reporting and ensures proper documentation, helping to mitigate liability by maintaining a record of the specific reasons each applicant was removed from consideration.

Disposition codes are internal only and candidates cannot see what disposition code they received or if a disposition code was applied to their application.

Manage Disposition Codes

Navigate to the Administration page and select the Disposition Codes tab on the left-hand navigation menu. You can +Add new or Edit (Pencil icon) existing Disposition Codes from this page before assigning them to a position.
